Banking and bank reconciliation, from EBICS to the books

Vaka, the ERP published by Devlab in Tahiti, connects the banking of French Polynesia businesses to their accounting. Depending on the bank and contract, statements are imported or collected over the EBICS protocol, orders are signed with a SWIFT 3SKey certificate, and Vaka proposes reconciliations that you approve.

Statements: import or scheduled collection

Import your statements, or set up their scheduled collection over EBICS according to your bank contract. Movements arrive in Vaka, attached to the right account.

Reconciliation: proposed, then approved

Vaka proposes matches between bank movements, invoices and payments. You review each proposal, approve or reject it: nothing is approved without you.

Signing and security

Bank exchanges use the EBICS protocol.

  • Orders signed with a personal SWIFT 3SKey certificate
  • Signing agent installed on the workstation that holds the certificate
  • End-to-end encrypted exchanges: no online banking credentials shared

Direct debits and rejections

SEPA direct debits in CFP francs are prepared from invoices, and direct debit rejections are tracked.

Compatibility

Bank connections are not guaranteed for every bank: compatibility and activation are confirmed with your bank.
